Director of Marketing and Admissions, Elisabeth Cassady
We happily welcomed the Class of 2027 at registration last night. Our faculty and staff did an amazing job giving our newest members of our community a personal and individualized experience. Our members of our student Recruitment Team, once again, wowed our guests with their incredible poise and warm welcomes. We are so proud of our students who are continually complimented each year for their positive presence, communication skills, and extensive knowledge about AHS that they passionately share with our guests. It was certainly a great day to BECOME a Rocket! Additionally, thank you for your support and prayers as we worked to recruit a healthy class of incoming freshmen who will continue to carry on the tradition of an Assumption High School Catholic education!

The Varsity Club planned a fun-filled Spirit Week with festive theme days culminating in a pep rally! Congratulations to our winter sports athletes and senior athletes who were recognized at our winter sports pep rally for their participation in archery, basketball, cheer, dance, and swimming/diving. And a big shout out to the Fly Girls of the Class of 2023 for their AMAZING fly girl dance performance – an Assumption senior tradition!

REMINDER ABOUT STUDENT ILLNESS: We are seeing an uptick in cases of COVID, mono, and other contagious diseases at AHS. If your daughter is not feeling well – no matter how minor her symptoms may be – please keep her home. Symptoms such as headache, sore throat, fever, cough, fatigue, and congestion are all signs of COVID. We recommend home testing if COVID symptoms are present. In addition, families need to be vigilant for symptoms especially if there is a positive COVID case in the home. In this way, we can help keep our school community healthy. Please reach out to our school nurse, Ms. Laura Burnam, at laura.burnam@ahsrockets.org at 502-271-2507, with any questions or concerns regarding your daughter’s health.
