Head Cheerleading Coach
Assumption High School seeks applicants interested in serving as the next Head Cheerleading Coach.
Ideal candidates can express how they will:
- Support the mission and vision of the school
- Build a program that can compete and win
- Manages all aspects of the Cheerleading program
- Hires and supervises the coaching staff
- Build a prominent youth camp
- Support recruiting efforts of athletes desiring to cheer in college
- Foster the development of a program culture for student-athletes from freshmen to seniors. Ideal candidates will express the type of championship culture they want for the program and how the athletes will benefit from it.
- Coordinate all activities within to include Cheerleading team workouts, individual instruction, conditioning, and strength training
- Have ideas to engage parents and alumnae in meaningful ways
- Support of the teachings of the Catholic Church, Mercy values and the mission and vision of Assumption High School.

Assistant Sprint Coach for Track
Assumption High School seeks applicants interested in serving as an Assistant Sprint Coach. This position will assist the Head Sprint Coach while helping lead and develop our student-athletes.
Ideal candidates can express how they will:
- Support the mission and vision of Assumption High School
- Assist in building a competitive and successful track program
- Work collaboratively with the head sprint coach to assist sprinters
- Lead and develop athletes, focusing on growth, consistency, and confidence
- Help organize and supervise practices, workouts, and meets
- Provide individual instruction and encouragement to student-athletes of varying ability levels with an emphasis on the sprinters
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and championship-level program culture from freshmen to seniors
- Support meet-day responsibilities and overall team operations
- Model and support the teachings of the Catholic Church, Mercy values, and the mission of Assumption High School
This is a supporting role and does not carry full head coaching responsibilities but is essential in the development and daily success of the program.

Assistant Cross Country Coach
Assumption High School seeks applicants interested in serving as an Assistant Cross Country Coach.
This position will support the Head Coach while helping lead and develop our student-athletes, with a primary focus on overseeing and mentoring our “developmental” runners.
Ideal candidates can express how they will:
- Support the mission and vision of Assumption High School
- Assist in building a competitive and successful cross-country program
- Work collaboratively with the Head Coach Barry Haworth to support all aspects of the program
- Lead and develop our JV level runners, focusing on growth, consistency, and confidence
- Help organize and supervise practices, workouts, and meets
- Provide individual instruction and encouragement to student-athletes of varying ability levels
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and championship-level program culture from freshmen to seniors
- Support meet-day responsibilities and overall team operations
- Build strong relationships with student-athletes, parents, and the Assumption community
- Model and support the teachings of the Catholic Church, Mercy values, and the mission of Assumption High School
This is a supporting role and does not carry full head coaching responsibilities but is essential in the development and daily success of the program.
We seek a commitment of 2-4 days per week (Mon-Thurs), typically from 3:20 until 5:00pm, and the ability to attend 3 Wednesday JV meets at 4:30pm.
