Integrated Technology

When Assumption adopted block scheduling in 1996, it extended class time and thereby increased hands-on, project-based learning.

Assumption’s comprehensive technology program allows teachers to provide timely assessment and communicate learning outcomes in real-time.  Our teachers are committed to integrating technology to benefit students although we don’t tout that as often as we should because it is such a part of our daily lives.  Our unique 1:1 Technology Program’s goal is to integrate technology into the curriculum as a tool for learning more effectively in order to: foster electronic information research skills fundamental to citizens in the 21st century, encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills, provide a platform for project-base learning, and provide learning tools that appeal to a diversity of learning styles.

The Difference

Our students are information designers, not information consumers. We create. That is the Assumption difference.
