MEDIA CREDENTIAL APPLICATION & LIABILITY WAIVER
Assumption High School welcomes members of the media to cover our athletic programs and events. To ensure a safe, professional, and organized environment for student athletes, coaches, spectators, and media personnel, all media representatives must complete a Media Credential Application and Liability Waiver for each athletic season (Fall, Winter, and Spring).
Season media credentials are available to active members of the media, including professional media organizations, freelance photographers and videographers, school-affiliated media, student journalists, and approved content creators who regularly cover high school athletics.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
• A separate credential application must be completed for each athletic season. • Applications should be submitted prior to the first event the media member plans to cover during that season. • Freelancers must indicate the media outlet or organization they are representing. • School-affiliated media members must provide school or faculty sponsorship. • Assumption Athletics reserves the right to approve, deny, limit, or revoke credentials at its discretion based on space limitations, event requirements, safety concerns, or violations of credential policies.
MEDIA ACCESS GUIDELINES
By accepting a season credential, media representatives agree to:
• Follow all Assumption High School and event venue policies. • Conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times. • Avoid interfering with student-athletes, coaches, officials, or game operations. • Remain in approved media areas and follow instructions from athletic department personnel. • Refrain from entering restricted areas, including locker rooms, team benches, and other designated team only spaces, unless specifically authorized.
School affiliated student media representatives must follow the same access, expectations, and conduct as professional media members.
