The test is free of charge. Calculators are not allowed. Get a good night’s sleep before the test and to eat a nutritious breakfast. Be sure to bring a water bottle!

The placement test helps Catholic secondary schools determine the most appropriate course work and academic path for meeting the needs of individual students. The placement test is only one of several tools used for academic placement at Assumption.

If you have applied for accommodations for your daughter to test with extended time through our Learning Differences Department, your daughters middle school should be sending her accommodation information to Assumption. Although the High School Placement Test is offered at other area Catholic high schools, taking it at Assumption High School is an important first step in becoming a member of Assumption’s Class of 2028.
