Guidance
Our Guidance and Counseling Department is as unique as your daughter. Beginning with our School and College Counselors who remain with the same class throughout their four years at Assumption (and beyond)! All of our School and College Counselors are knowledgeable, certified school counselors who are able to meet students’ needs from a personal perspective and are focused on helping them achieve their academic and co-curricular goals during their four years at AHS.

Family Program
Starting high school is a major transition, and at Assumption High School, we believe that students thrive when they feel known, supported, and connected from the very beginning. That’s why we created the Family Program—a cornerstone of the Assumption experience since 2005. Inspired by the nine foundations in Ireland where Catherine McAuley and the Sisters of Mercy began their mission, the Family Program is designed to foster community, consistency, and sisterhood throughout a student’s four years.

International Travel
At Assumption High School, international travel is more than a destination, it is an invitation to live our Mercy mission, expand global awareness, and develop compassionate leaders grounded in faith, service, and cultural understanding. Through mission immersion, exchange opportunities, and summer travel programs, students experience the world beyond the classroom while deepening their understanding of self, others, and God’s call to mercy.
