Aerials

Coach Marquardt has been coaching and performing aerials since 2015. She has performed at many of the major venues in Louisville, and has has NECCA Certification for Intro and Level 1, and has taken rigging courses with Delbert Hall and Brett Copes. She has trained all ages, but specializes in teens and youth performers. She believes that there is something for everyone in the circus, regardless of experience, body shape, gender, etc. She also believes aerial arts can serve the mind, body, and soul; not only does it build functional strength, but it also encourages problem-solving, mental dexterity, and is the ultimate mindfulness exercise. Jessica graduated from Ballard High School, followed by the University of Louisville with a BA in both Psychology and English.
