No Sweatpants or Non-Uniform Sweatshirts
Ladies, as the weather gets colder, please remember that you may NEVER wear sweatpants under your uniform skirts at school. Seniors, this also means that you may NOT wear sweatpants when eating outside. If you are worried about being cold, you should wear tights or leggings (or uniform pants). When the faculty and staff agreed to allow students to wear leggings this year, the agreement included never giving students permission to wear sweatpants, even in areas that are uncomfortably cold at times. Also, since seniors can wear senior sweatshirts and all students can wear a quarter-zip uniform sweatshirt, there should be no need for a student to wear a non-AHS sweatshirt with her uniform. Please consult the student/parent handbook for all the details about wearing tights and leggings and sweatshirts.
