QUICK RECALL PRACTICE THIS WEEK
Hey Assumption! The Quick Recall team would like to invite anyone interested in joining us to our first practices this week on Wednesday and Thursday from 3:00 to 4:15 p.m. in The Achievement Center. All students are welcome to join us, and you do not need prior experience. We had our most winning year last year, as our Varsity team won first place at district and placed at regionals. Our JV team was also successful and is looking forward to attending the JV challenge next month. If you played Quick Recall or competed in Governor’s Cup in grade school, if you love trivia questions, or just want to be part of a fun group of girls who enjoy each other’s company, then come visit with us on Wednesday if you in the Maroon cohort and Thursday if you are in the Blue cohort. For any student who is part of the pink cohort, please look for this announcement on Sharepoint to find our Teams Page code so you can join us virtually. Code: 8zf541j .Contact Mrs. Conway if you have any questions.
PINK PRINCESS – BIRR
This month’s pink princess is always full of energy and making people smile. Around the halls you can catch her taking pictures with her disposable camera. If you don’t see her in the hall, you will definitely hear her in another classroom. If she’s not on the field or court, you can find her in the stands leading cheers for her classmates. This month’s pink princess is Libby Bringard. Congratulations!
ACT REMINDERS FOR JUNIORS AND SENIORS
Attention all Juniors and Seniors – A few reminders about tomorrow’s National ACT test. Please remember to bring your Taking the ACT Test booklet so you can send your scores to colleges as well as your calculator, your favorite pencil and a snack. Please be sure to arrive early as this will be the first time that ALL juniors and seniors with a parking spot will be on campus at the same time. You need enough time to park and navigate to the room where you will be testing. Testing starts at 8:30. Lastly, please get a good nights sleep and eat a protein filled breakfast. We will dismiss at 12:45.
