HYBRID LEARNING MODEL SURVEY
Students – Now that we are in week five of our hybrid model of instruction, we think it is a good time to get feedback from you about your learning in our hybrid model. In class meetings today, Mrs. Fieldhouse or Mrs. Schuhmann will introduce this survey’s purpose to you and then send a link to you by email so that you can complete it by this Friday, October 2.

Here in the cafeteria, we are diligently crafting and creating delicious and nutritious options to be of comfort in the middle of your day. Recently, we have added more hot items to help satisfy anyone’s tastes. Many of you have money in your accounts already, so you have everything you need to order a delicious meal. Why not use it today to get a meal delivered to you.Not crazy hungry? You can also order just a cookie, drink, chips, or snack to go. We will send it right up with the amazing Assumption staff that deliver your meals.Remember, you can access the ordering app through your SharePoint or go to www.myflikisdining.com and put in Assumption. BANNED BOOKS
Did you know…The books in the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling were the most challenged books from 2000–2009 and were listed as #9 on the top 10 challenged books for 2019! Most book challenges are within schools and school libraries. The most frequently challenged book by an author of color is I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by the amazing Maya Angelou. ROSE AWARD NOMINATIONS
The Rose Award is a $5,000 grant endowed by an anonymous donor to recognize an Assumption employee who serves as a role model and is a positive influence in our community. Alums, current parents, past parents, students, faculty and staff are invited to nominate a current administrator, faculty, or staff member who has made a significant difference in their lives. Past winners are: Katie Hughbanks, Cindi Baughman, Kelly Kirwan, Kathy Fleischer, Dawn Deweese, Angela Lincoln, Barry Hayworth, Jackie Metry, Doug Sumey, Mary Margaret Ralph, Judi Erskine, and James Sutherland. These individuals cannot win again.Nominations are due by Friday, October 23 and must include a description (two paragraph minimum) supporting your nomination. The award will be presented at the Thanksgiving Celebration on Tuesday, November 18.
