Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and English Education – Transylvania University Master of Education in Counseling and Educational Psychology – University of Louisville Rank I in Counseling and Educational Psychology – University of Louisville Family Galway Currently in her twenty-second year, Dawn Deweese is the Guidance Program Director and counselor to the Class of 2022. She is the Diversity Club Moderator, Success Scholars Director, Mental Health Awareness Club Moderator, and Rocket Parent Network Moderator. Dawn is the Louisville Eating Disorder Alliance (LEDA) Secretary, member of the Kentucky Counseling Association (KCA), and participated in the Archdiocesan Diversity Club. Dawn has been awarded the Model of Mercy, Rose Award, TEA Award and the Irene Casey Inclusion Award.

Bachelor of Arts – University of Kentucky Master of Arts in Education – University of Louisville Family Limerick Kimberly Habich began working as an Assumption College Counselor in 2016. She is the National Honor Society co-advisor and has served on the Senior Honors Committee, Senior Events Planning Committee, Guidance Advisory Board, Mission Committee, and Advanced Program Committee.

Bachelor of Arts in Psychology – University of Delaware Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration – University of Louisville Family Limerick Leigh Jackson is in her fourteenth year as a College Counselor at Assumption High School. She also serves as a club moderator for Rockets Helping Others. Outside of Assumption she is a board member of the National Catholic College Admission Association. In 2017, Mrs. Jackson was awarded the Kentucky Association of College Admission Counselling (KYACAC) Carolyn Quire Service Award.

Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education – Morehead State University Masters in School Counseling – University of Louisville Rank One in School Counseling – University of Louisville Family Birr Jennifer Ruckriegel is in her first year as a member of Assumption’s Guidance team and is the Class of 2023 Guidance Counselor. In addition to supporting her freshmen students, Mrs. Ruckriegel serves as club moderator for Assumption’s Peer Leaders. A fun fact about Mrs. Ruckriegel is that she taught English in China for two months in 2004.
