Rocket Update
Dear Parents,
On behalf of Assumption High School and the Office of Advancement, we would like to say GRAZIE to all of you for making this year’s Rocket Spectacular such a success! From Rosie’s Ristorante to the Venice Canal and the great sights of Italy, “That’s Amore” was a night to remember. This year’s record-breaking attendance of 465 guests filled the gym with excitement. Our guests enjoyed a gourmet dinner, took part in the silent and live auctions, and played games of chance. Here is a sneak peak of a few of the spectacular results.
We reached our goal and sold over $100,000 in Rocket Raffle tickets! The lucky winner of the $20,000 cash prize is our own Christy Hulsewede, AHS Athletic Assistant and mother of Hannah ‘21. Our student speaker Julia Goodfleisch ’19 addressed our guests during the “Sponsor a Student” segment of the live auction and raised $91,695! Stay tuned as we will have more great news to share and final numbers soon.
Our sincere gratitude and thanks for the many ways that your contributions made the night a success. Whether you bought Rocket Raffle tickets, secured an auction item, donated an item, volunteered your time, or attended the event, YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE and we couldn’t have done it without you! As you know, every dollar raised benefits the financial needs of our students. Grazie!
Congratulations to our Assumption Dance Team who participated in the UDA National Competition this past weekend. They finished second in Medium Jazz and third in Medium Hip Hop. Way to go, Rockets!
We also had two Assumption seniors take part in an athletic signing ceremony committing to university athletic programs on Wednesday. Congratulations to our senior student athletes!
