Choosing a high school is a huge step in every student’s educational career.  We encourage young women to talk with us about this choice and the opportunities of a lifetime that only Assumption High School can offer.

The first step in the admission process is to schedule a shadow visit in which the prospective student will attend a day of classes with an Assumption student.  Making a shadow visit gives the student an opportunity to experience actual classes and meet students and teachers.  Eighth grade students are invited to shadow in the fall and seventh grade students beginning in January.

Another valuable way to see Assumption is to come to Open House on Thursday, November 30, at 6:30 p.m.  Parents and students can tour the school, meet teachers, staff, and students, and gather information on the school’s many courses and activities.

The next step is to take the High School Placement Test at Assumption on Saturday, December 9, at 9 a.m. Although the High School Placement Test is offered at other area Catholic high schools, taking it at Assumption High School is an important first step in becoming a member of Assumption's Class of 2022. No registration is required.  Simply bring $10 and two #2 pencils.  Calculators are not needed.  Don’t forget to eat a good breakfast!


Once the school receives a student’s Placement Test scores and information from her middle school teachers, a letter regarding admission will be mailed.  Families of students who are accepted must return the registration form and other admissions information by the deadlines stated in the admissions packet.
