High School Placement Test
The first step to become a member of the Rocket Class of 2025 is to take the High School Placement Test (HSPT) at Assumption on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
We welcome students to the entrance of our gym between 8:30 and 9:00 a.m. Calculators are not allowed. Get a good night’s sleep before the test and to eat a nutritious breakfast. Students should finish the test between 12:00 to 12:30 p.m. Students don’t need to register to take the HSPT at Assumption.
Each student who takes the HSPT must complete a Student Information Sheet. For your convenience, you will find an electronic version of this form here. We encourage you and your daughter to complete and submit the form prior to Saturday morning. Then, we ask that you print the confirmation email, sign it, and have your daughter bring the copy with her to the placement test. However, your daughter may also complete this form when she arrives at Assumption on December 12 for the test.
If you have applied for accommodations for your daughter to test with extended time through our Learning Differences Department, you will receive a separate letter with more specific information including the parent the presentation time. If you have not received your letter, please contact Tricia Walker or 502.271.2581.
Although the High School Placement Test is offered at other area Catholic high schools, taking it at Assumption High School is an important first step in becoming a member of Assumption’s Class of 2025.
Once you take the placement test at Assumption High School, registration and admission details will be mailed in February.
If you have questions, please contact the Admissions Office at 502-271-2514.
