At Assumption, we believe a student’s course of study should be as unique as she is. Our combination of semester and year-long courses, paired with a wide variety of elective offerings across all core academic areas, allows for remarkable individualization at every level—not just the most advanced.

Each year, Assumption’s master schedule is intentionally rebuilt based on student course requests, not on teacher preference or convenience. The result is a schedule designed to maximize student choice, flexibility, and opportunity. In fact, an analysis of senior schedules from the Classes of 2012–2024 revealed that no two graduating seniors followed the exact same schedule—a powerful reflection of the depth and breadth of our academic offerings and our commitment to educating the whole person.

How to Navigate the Course Catalog

The course catalog below is organized to help families easily explore academic opportunities:

  • Courses are grouped by department and housed within expandable accordions. Click on a department name to view all courses offered within that academic area.
  • Grade-level tabs at the top allow you to quickly filter and view courses typically available to students in each grade.
  • Course descriptions include important details such as prerequisites, course level, and whether a course is semester or year-long.

We encourage students and families to explore broadly, ask thoughtful questions, and work closely with our counselors as they design a course plan that reflects both academic goals and personal interests.
