March 11, 2008 – Louisville, KY – Assumption High School will host a Discover Assumption Day at the school on Sunday, March 30, 2008, from 1-3:00 p.m. All seventh grade girls are invited to register for this day of fun!
Assumption High School’s Discover Day will provide interested seventh grade girls the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities facilitated by current Assumption students. The afternoon activities will include science, dance, journalism, drama, art, forensic science, consumer economics, and leadership opportunities. Girls will also get to know other participants and upperclasswomen while exploring the physical layout of the school and learning about academic offerings at Assumption. Assumption High School was founded in 1955 by the Sisters of Mercy. Located at 2170 Tyler Lane, the school brings almost 1,000 students together, grades 9-12, in a Catholic environment.
