“Your credentials were quite impressive and reflect your expertise, passion, and service within our collective fields and the obvious impact that you have on your students, colleagues, and community,” said Pam Bechtel, President of the Society of Health and Physical Educators Midwest District, in a letter to Mrs. McKinley.
Mrs. McKinley believes her creative methods of teaching physical education was one of the reasons she received the awards. “My goal is to engage my students in positive behaviors and healthy habits so they will incorporate good choices for the rest of their life,” she shared.
Congratulations to Mrs. McKinley on this prestigious award! We are so proud and grateful to have inventive teachers like Mrs. McKinley at Assumption!
