Assumption High School’s Rose Theatre Company Presents A Midsummer Night’s Stream

For the past month, Assumption High School’s Rose Theatre Company has been rehearsing the spring play over Zoom. What started out as a measure to make sure that the actors didn’t fall behind during social distancing turned in to be our last, best hope to present a school play. Since then, it has taken on a life of its own. There are costumes. There are props. There is even a digital set! The production is already receiving media attention, having been written up in the Courier Journal for its innovative concept.

On Sunday, April 26 at 3:00 p.m. we will stream A Midsummer Night’s Dream on Facebook for viewers to enjoy. The play will remain online for a week, as if it were running in person, and we hope that you will tune in. Visit Assumption’s Facebook Page to tune in.

In lieu of ticket sales, please consider contributing to the Assumption High School Annual Fund which currently provides tuition assistance to more than 200 students and will continue to help current and future families. We know there will be many families struggling financially due to hardships related to COVID-19 in the days and weeks ahead and we want to try our very best to meet that need.
